Jackie Mogol started on Monday as Regional Sales Manager on the West Coast. She is obsessed with the digital world - prior to joining the FM team, Jackie was at CMP Technology for 3+ years honing her craft in traditional and non-traditional media formats. Miraculously, Jackie is still finding ways to utilize her Bachelor of Science-Fine Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Welcome to the family, Jackie!

2009 Online Advertising Outlook
UBS reduces its forecast for late 2008 and 2009 ad revenues (Mediapost), but expects online to fare relatively better than traditional media.
Wachovia cuts its outlook for 2009 (Reuters), with a similar distribution of the pain:
"Wachovia analyst John Janedis now expects U.S. advertising spending to fall 0.8 percent in both 2008 and 2009 'based on continued deterioration in the economy, and our belief that things may get worse before getting better.' He previously called for growth of 1.2 percent this year

This is fantastic news for FM's West Coast client base!
The digital media world needs more people like Jackie Mogol - forthright, perceptive, intuitive, creative - with a dash of infectious enthusiasm. The words 'crackerjack' and 'wunderkind' spring to mind.
